The Remembering, Light & Pūmanawa of Within

Tuihana Ohia - When did you take, make, create time and space to remember the light, the superpowers within?

E ngaki ana a mua, e tōtō mai ana a muri

First clear the weeds, then plant

Make time for mind weeding (Dr Elder, 2020)

We were joined by Tuihana Ohia (Ngāi te Rangi, Ngāti Pukenga, Te Arawa, Ngāi Pākehā) who lead us on a guided journey into a calm space of wellbeing, to lead us into Christmas and beyond. When did you take, make, create time and space to remember the light, the superpowers within? Let’s pause, give ourselves permission to pause, take a moment of reflection and bask in remembering the light of us and our pūmanawa. Let’s clear the weeds.

We wish to thank WordsWorth Interpreting for the incredible service provided for our Community Research live webinar. The final recording of the webinar, however, does not have a visual of the interpreters onscreen with Tuihana due to technical difficulties. Our sincere apologies to anyone who wanted to access the NZSL services provided. We will be including NZSL in our webinars for 2023 so they may be shared as a resource in the future.
