The Building Better Government Engagement (BBGE) project seeks to identify actions for building skills, knowledge and values in the public service about effective engagement with citizens and communities. This report outlines recommendations for addressing the key finding that Central government is not yet sufficiently committed to, and skilled at, collaborating with citizens and community organisations to jointly tackle societal problems.
