This report presents insights from our research and our interviews with people who have significant experience of restorative practice in the New Zealand context. We have utilised this knowledge to to assess and articulate the case for establishing a multi-disciplinary “Centre for Restorative Research and Engagement” with a broad civic and cross-sector outreach and nationwide profile. The report was commissioned by the Diana Unwin Chair in Restorative Justice at the Victoria University of Wellington, School of Government.
