MAI Journal, published by Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, New Zealand’s Indigenous Centre of Research Excellence, publishes multidisciplinary peer-reviewed articles that critically analyse and substantively address indigenous and Pacific issues in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand. Manuscripts should make a significant contribution to the field and extend the boundaries of indigenous scholarship in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand. We also welcome articles in indigenous languages relevant to Aotearoa New Zealand.
