Wing Morgan

Kia ora, I’m Wing Zheng Morgan, a cross‑cultural researcher with 20+ years’ experience across Aotearoa and China. As a first‑generation migrant, I bring lived experience to my research practice. I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and specialise in culturally responsive community research.
My work spans a wide range of topics, from voter engagement (general and Auckland local elections) and traditional Chinese medicine import regulations, to sensitive, high‑shame areas e.g. media impacts on rangatahi, migrant worker exploitation, and family violence. I conduct in‑language, culturally responsive research and work with organisations to apply findings across policy, communications, and service delivery.
