Brendon McIntosh

I am a clinical pharmacist with experience in a wide array of research projects. I recently submitted my Masters thesis titled “As long as we are aware of the words and the waiata, we’ll sing it beautifully”.
I founded Kia Kaha Chemist after a summer studentship where I discovered whānau were going without food to buy their medicines because they couldn’t afford their prescription or vice versa, which I thought was totally wrong . My mission is simple – ensure whānau know and have access to information about their health, their medicine, nutrition and supplements for good health.
I’m interested in any research that aims to improve access to quality healthcare for Māori.
