Annabel Farry


Ko Annabel Fakhri tōku ingoa. I am a midwife, an educator and a member of the Lebanese community in Tamaki Makaurau. I have married into the iwi of Tūwharetoa and have two daughters. I am proud to call myself tangata Tiriti. I hold a Master of Midwifery, and I am currently a doctoral candidate at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University. My doctoral research uses CTA and standpoint theory to explore the emerging field of Critical Midwifery Studies.
