My name is Agustina and I’m an Argentinian English-Spanish professional translator and interpreter. I completed an undergraduate translation degree at the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) before moving to Aotearoa in 2014. I have been a freelance translator since 2013 and an interpreter since 2017. I completed a Graduate Diploma in Arts (Interpreting) at the Auckland University of Technology, where I have been working as a T&I lecturer. I am currently working towards completing a Master of Language and Culture at AUT, researching the application of ally theory in spoken-language community interpreting from a service user perspective.
