A project detailing the findings from interviewing 26 homeless men and women in Nelson and Blenheim. They were interviewed to surface what they felt were the areas they needed support with and how this support should be delivered and by whom.
While the needs identified were in part similar to current support areas for the homeless, they also identified areas not currently prioritised. In addition the participants gave a differing perspective on current initiatives.
This report should be of interest to anybody working with and supporting the homeless.
