In mid-2012, the NGO Health and Disability Network explored older people’s health issues and the current role of the non-profit sector. By sharing these findings, the Network hopes to help facilitate greater NGO involvement in creating alternative options for older people. This summary is not intended to be a complete comprehensive collection of all that is going on. It is for those NGOs and others who do not currently have significant expertise and knowledge of older people’s health issues, but whose services or skills may be extended to contribute to this growing area of need.
