This report adds to the growing body of knowledge about non-government organisations (NGOs) in New Zealand contracted by the Crown to provide mental health and addictions services in the community. The survey collates the results of 1833 individual responses to create a snapshot of the industry. The variety of occupations of respondents was extensive, demonstrating the wide range of activity currently being undertaken in the community by NGOs.
