This report measures philanthropy in New Zealand during 2011; that is, how much money New Zealanders and their organisations (trusts & foundations, individuals and businesses) gave to charitable and other community purposes. It also describes where the giving went (both by region and by type of activity), and compares giving with a survey in NZ in 2006, and with Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States of America.
