Gloria Fraser


Gloria Fraser has whakapapa to Kāi Tahu and Kāti Māmoe. She recently completed her PhD in the School of Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington and is currently working as an intern psychologist for the Hutt Valley District Health Board. She is particularly interested in the intersection of sex-sexuality-gender diversity and clinical psychology. Her doctoral research focussed on rainbow experiences of mental health support in Aotearoa. Gloria has previously worked as a research coordinator for the New Zealand Attitudes and Values Study (NZAVS), and in voluntary roles for feminist and mental health organisations. She was also a recipient of a Community research award for new and emerging researchers in October 2019.
