Madi is our Digital Content and Communications Coordinator, alongside her studies as an Honours student in Media Studies.
She is particularly interested in how media shapes, defines, intermediates, normalises and influences our individual identities and the fabric of our collective society. She is also interested in takatāpui and indigenous research, as well as cultural and historical research.
Beyond mahi, Madi is a storyteller, a creative, and a fierce seeker of positive social and political change for diverse communities and the taiao. She enjoys writing and art-making, but mostly being in the kūkūwai (wetlands), ngahere (forest) and moana (ocean).
