I am an enthusiastic researcher and teacher interested in meaningful work towards a more sustainable and just world. I am a Rutherford Fellow of New Zealand, a member of the Community Economies Collective, and the more recent Community Economies Institute. I am part of the leadership team of Huritanga: Systems change for urban wellbeing, a National Science Challenge funded programme in Aotearoa New Zealand. I am an experienced PhD and Masters supervisor, an award-winning teacher, and a careful mentor and coach in academic work. I work with communities to design and deliver research projects that meet their aspirations, particularly for economic, environmental and social transformation.
