I am a PhD candidate who submitted the thesis for evaluation. My research interests are in strategic management and development economics, in particular in the fields of development studies and gender. I studied how women directors navigated institutional constraints in the context of Sri Lanka. I am an expert in institutional theory, and economic theory. I am holding two masters degree that include research component in the filed of economics. I have the capability of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Prior to moving to New Zealand, I worked as a senior lecturer at a Sri Lankan university, where I taught economics courses.
