Sharon Bell


Dr Sharon Bell is the research manager of The Workshop, a research and communications not-for-profit organisation specialising in narratives strategies which help individuals and organisations to better communicate complex social and environmental issues.

Sharon is a social researcher and practitioner committed to wellbeing and justice with over 25 years experience in the global development sector. Sharon enjoys thinking strategically about social, cultural and political issues. She has worked collaboratively with academics, politicians, ministry staff and communities across the Global South. Her PhD from Massey University explored health justice and capabilities for communities in conflict-affected contexts and she maintains a keen interest in these topics.
