Ritu is a Research Fellow at Te Ngira: Institute for Population Research, University of Waikato. At Te Ngira, she is working on multiple projects with the WERO (Working to End Racial Oppression) team. She has an MA and Ph.D. (Sociology) from the University of Auckland and graduate qualifications from the University of Rajshahi. Prior to joining Te Ngira, she worked as a Researcher at Te Pūnaha Matatini and the Public Policy Institute (PPI), University of Auckland. Her research specialties include Migration, Race and Ethnicity, and Intersectionality.
