I am someone with 25+ years experience working in the community with Deaf with additional disabilities/mental health issues. I am passionate about making a difference in this sector improving access alongside Human rights. This group of people are a group that typically don't tend to have a voice in many spaces due to their dual impairments resulting in minimal language skills coupled with low self esteem/confidence. My research has developed from an experience base working alongside individuals from various backgrounds. I am interested in joining this group to hopefully share what I know in this space with the potential of growing the knowledge base of this sector.
