Niusha Aryan

Kia ora, I am a youth worker with 7+ years of experience, and am currently doing my PhD part-time alongside the Clinical Psychology Programme at the Victoria University of Wellington. I completed my undergraduate studies at Victoria University as well, graduating with a Bachelors of Science, with First Class Honours in Psychology. In my research, i’m interested in understanding the Psychological wellbeing of migrant and refugee youth, and what factors facilitate and challenge wellbeing for them. Along side my studies I also work part-time, currently i’m working at Aotearoa Refugee and Migrant Support Services as a Cultural Bridging Facilitator, a Whānau Support Worker and a Youth Mentor.
