Dr. Liya Antony is currently working as Kaiako at Te Wānanga O Aotearoa. She completed her PhD in Social Work at the University of Auckland. Her PhD was a qualitative longitudinal research to explore the reintegration experiences of young people who participated in the Project K, a New Zealand-based youth development programme owned by Graeme Dingle Foundation. Liya’s research is in the interdisciplinary fields of Social Work and positive youth development programme. She has completed her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Social work, after her Master of Social Work (MSW). She has also competed her second Maters Degree in Human Resource Management (MHRM). Liya comes with extensive experience in research, teaching, and practice in Social Work.
