Anura is currently project manager, Dasu Hydropower Project in Pakistan. He holds an B Sc (Hons) Agriculture from University of Sri Lanka, an M Sc (Agric. Economics & Extension) from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, Sri Lanka and a PhD Degree (Sociology of Resource Management) from the University of Sri J’pura, Sri Lanka. He has completed over a dozen of training courses offered by universities, development partners and national governments. His 42-years of career includes stint as project manager, chief technical advisor, international civil servant, senior expert and, visiting University Lecturer (Sri Lanka, New Zealand Massey, Wageningen, The Netherlands) Lecturer. He counts over 4 decades of consulting / research experience.
