John Stansfield is widely recognised as a leader in the community development sector. He founded the Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management and works within the Department of Social Practice at Unitec.
He has extensive experience in conducting research for community organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand. He chairs the International Community Development Conference, is Deputy Editor of Whanake: The Pacific Journal of Community Development, and a board member of various other community development organisations both in Aotearoa and abroad.
