The purpose of the Code of Practice is to provide benchmark principles and standards by which researchers can measure their work. It represents what contributors consider to be important when doing research.
A researcher that agrees with the intent of the Code of Practice, indicates that they value its principles and standards, and is open to scrutiny and support from other researchers and communities.
Here, in The Clearing House, people who are looking for research partners will know via the researcher's profile whether he or she agrees with the Code.
Who has been involved?
A range of researchers and others from communities, government and academic sectors have contributed to the Code.
